The Gramai Hochleger is located at 1,756 metres above sea level below the Sonnjoch. © Achensee Tourismus
The mountain hut lies at an elevation of 1,756 metres above sea level in the Nature Park Karwendel. It is a popular stop on the way to the summit of the 2,457-metre high Sonnjoch, the highest mountain of the Achensee region. Hikers can fortify themselves with simple dishes, snacks, soups, cakes and Kaiserschmarrn.

Infrastructure on site
The Gramai Hochleger is expected to reopen in early June 2026.
