The Maurach XC Trail (M4) starts at the Atoll Achensee, follows the lakeshore for a short distance, and then turns left across a large meadow towards the centre of the village. It continues past houses, crosses another meadow, traverses the tracks of the Achenseebahn, and finally crosses a small bridge over the Wankratzbach stream before returning to the starting point.
