The tour into the Gerntal valley is characterised by the varied terrain of flat stretches and short ascents. At the beginning, the trail leads through the forest and continues to the Pletzachalm (serviced). From there, the trail climbs slightly along the stream bed to the Gern Alm (serviced). The return route descends with a moderate gradient. The trail is suitable for advanced beginners and intermediate skiers.
