The Rotwandhütte is located at 1,525 metres on a spacious alpine pasture with wonderful views of the Karwendel mountains. Traditional Tirolean snack platters, bread slices topped with bacon or cheese and cold drinks. Homemade cakes are occasionally offered.

The Rotwandhütte has been closed since 20 September 2026 and will reopen for the 2027 alpine pasture season.

No fixed opening hours. The Rotwandhütte is open daily during the summer season. Opening times may vary, as the hut is run by the Moser family while working on the mountain pasture.
